Fatchiah is a Vice Rector and Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Paramadina. Her focus is on psychology and education issues in Indonesia. In her doctoral study, she wrote a dissertation entitled "The Religious Model of Counseling and Guidance to Improve Psychological Welfare of Mothers."
